Legionella Workshop - Recorded Live on January 22, 2025

This webinar recording shares advances in Legionella testing and occurrence with practitioners and researchers related to results and challenges. This recording is a collaboration between the Private Well Class at the Prairie Research Institute, University of Illinois, along with the New York State Department of Health and the Southern Nevada Health District. This one-day virtual workshop took place on January 22, 2025.

This workshop was for informational purposes only, to present study results related to Legionella in home water systems. The presentation by the New Jersey Department of Health included home sampling initiatives, single case investigations, travel-related single cases, the regulatory framework and research efforts in New York State, and efforts to evaluate the occurrence of Legionella in homes on private wells. The goal of the workshop was to share advances in Legionella testing and occurrence with practitioners and researchers related to results and challenges.
